For adding a new menu item (link) :
- Decide in which menu to create it
- Which view will be used
In this article, we will cover adding new menu item, in the main menu, using single article view.
1. Navigate to Menus >> Menu Manager
2. From the menu list, select the menu where you want to add a new item.
3. In the upper right, click on icon "New" to add a new menu item.
4. On the left side, in the "Details" section, click on the button "Select" to choose appropriate menu item type.
5. As I said in the introduction, we will choose "Single Article" menu item type.
6. After you choosed "Single Article" for your menu item type, at the right side you will see a box for article selection. Click on "Select" to choose the article you want to display.
7. You will see a list of the existing article on your website. Select one from the list.
8-9. Most important fields you need to fill in is the title of your new menu item and selection of the parent item, by which you tell where do you want your menu item to appear in the menu structure. You can leave the default values for other fields.
10. Finally, click "Save & Close" to save your newly created menu item.
