Before you decide to manage modules in Joomla 2.5, you should underestand what they are.
Simply, think of a module as a "block" on your page that has a specific function.
While it may be just a static piece of content, it could potentially also be completely dynamic. An example of a Joomla module is a login module.

1. To navigate to Module Manager, go: Extensions >> Module Manager

2. You should expect to see a list of modules similar to the one below. To edit an existing module, select a module of interest, and click "Edit." To add a new module, simply click the "New" icon.

As with the articles, you can publish, unpublish or trash a module.
