Do you collect business leads over your Joomla website? If so, what do you do with low quality leads?

Disqualifying Low Quality Sales LeadsOut of 10 leads that your website receives, let’s say you have 2 high quality leads, 5 low quality or low sales volume potential leads and then 3 completely junk or spam type leads.

First, I’d recommend disqualifying junk or irrelevant leads. While you may want to disqualify and save time on 5 low quality or low sales potential leads as well, I’d recommend you to consider hiring a new sales representative or assigning them to an existing one that needs additional training.

Second, you may find that this solution helps you accomplish 2 goals:
  • help you train your sales staff for higher and better quality sales leads. Their close rates may be less but they will get a chance to practice your sales process.
  • help you squeeze some potentially good work out of those leads when they have bigger projects. This is especially useful for new small businesses that have not established themselves on the market yet.

What are your thoughts about low quality sales leads from your Joomla website? What do you do with them?
