captcha-originalDuring a recent inspection of one of our client’s Virtuemart shopping carts for Joomla user experience, I noticed that their Joomla captcha is case sensitive.

The page captcha does function correctly. However, it is a real pain because for some letters it's not easy to figure out if they're uppercase or lowercase.

So in the following 2 examples, one of the following 2 security code entries would not be recognized:

captcha-original-FAIL
Does Not Validate Correctly
captcha-original-PASS
Validates Correctly

That's a real pain because the target audience may not easily figure out uppercase and lowercase letters.

Most of them are not programmers or IT consultants and therefore are likely to flee the site in frustration instead of trying to figure out what the issue is.

Over to you, what are your biggest complaints about Joomla, Virtuemart and other extensions when it comes to user experience?
