Introduction
NCLC already completed three projects with OGO Sense when it came time to redesign and migrate of their main website. Considering that OGO Sense did a fantastic job with previous projects, it was logical to continue using a trusted provider for this major project.Problem
There were many issues with the former NCLC website. The home page was rather busy and it was hard to navigate to other pages from it. Because of navigation issues and a lot of different content, It was also not clear who the target audience was when first visiting the home page. Additionally, the website was Joomla 1.5, a version of Joomla no longer supported. The website was not responsive while the number of smartphone and tablet visitors were increasing from day to day.Solution
After completing the discovery process, our solution was to:- Meet the needs of growing smartphone and tablet audience with responsive design.
- Improve website administration with easier and more user friendly Joomla 3 interface.
- Improve website security and continuity by completing website migration from Joomla 1.5 to 3.
- Better meet the needs of target audience with home page redesign.
